Darnell-Cookman Middle/High School, School of the Medical Arts (SoMA), is a college preparatory school built on a tradition of excellence with a mission to offer its students a rigorous curriculum in the medical arts through experiential learning. Emphasis is placed on personal integrity, problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, and a passion for lifelong learning. Our highly trained faculty provide a variety of both group and individual learning opportunities that help prepare students to succeed in college. It is our diverse student population in an educationally rich environment that has created the Darnell-Cookman tradition of excellence.
