Highly qualified professionals offer instruction in band, chorus, dance, drama, piano, orchestra, guitar, creative writing, and visual arts in a program designed for both beginning and advanced students. Standard, honors, gifted and ESE classes accommodate students who receive at least two periods of arts instruction in addition to the core curriculum.

"Arts Enhance Academics"
Tours: January 21 and 28, 9:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. and February 26 at 9:45 a.m.
General Auditions: January 25 and 26 at 6 p.m. in the LaVilla School of the Arts theatre. No students will be admitted after 6 p.m. For information on audition requirements, visit our web site www.duvalschools.org/lavilla.
Special Information: Primary entry point for all programs is grade 6. Openings for grades 7 and 8 are limited. Entrance to grades 7 and 8 is only through audition results placing the student above the beginning level. Entrance to grade 6 is by lottery. Grade 6 students are invited to audition for advanced placement and may receive a higher priority in the lottery. Students who audition must also submit a magnet application by the application deadline. Principal's signature given only after taking a school tour. We offer before school study hall. TEAM UP (Tuesday and Thursday), tutoring, recreation and community education Monday through Friday.
