Montessori offers a time-proven curriculum that allows children to explore through hands-on learning experiences, to learn at their own pace and proceed to the next step or lesson in learning as they are ready. Children of different ages learn together in a warm and relaxed environment that promotes independence, respect, sharing and responsibility. Students work with specially designed and attractively displayed developmental learning materials. Montessori helps students gain the skills needed to work independently and as a part of a group. Montessori Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 is a tuition-based program and is not a part of VPK.
Utilization of Magnet Schools
The school district strives to have the utilization of all schools between 85% and 105% of their current capacity. The 2011-2012 utilization of each magnet school helps determine the number of new magnet openings a school may offer for the 2012-2013 magnet lottery.

An Inspirations Magnet School
Tours: We offer tours every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Families are welcome to meet in the front office and check in with front office staff.
Open House: Thrusday, January 26, 6:00 p.m.
Special Information: New students accepted in K, 1st grade only without prior documented experience. We have limited parking and prospective families are welcome to park across the street in the church parking lot or on Cleveland Street. All programs offered Kindergarten – Grade 8 allowing students nine years of continuous instruction. Openings after Grade 1 limited to those with prior experience in the program. Openings for Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 are available in our Montessori and Spanish Montessori Programs. Pre-K enrollment is tuition based.
