The Early College Program at Robert E. Lee High School is the inaugural Early College Program in the county. It blends high school and college courses to provide a rigorous, yet supportive, program that allows students to gain their high school diploma while offering an opportunity to obtain an AA degree upon graduation. This tuition-free program provides students with the greatest access to a higher education during their high school career, without losing the chance to participate in high school activities. For a college-minded student, this is the premier program. Admission to this Early College Program is by application only and based on an academic rubric. For consideration, applications must be submitted directly to the school.
Utilization of Magnet Schools
The school district strives to have the utilization of all schools between 85% and 105% of their current capacity. The 2011-2012 Utilization of each magnet school helps determine the number of new magnet openings a school may offer for the 2012-2013 magnet lottery.
