The Business, Finance and Law programs balance preparation for post-secondary education and for the workforce. Practical experiences, specialized courses, mentorships, guest speakers and business partnerships offer a preview of the day-to-day worlds of the office and courtroom.
The Finance program is designed to motivate students to complete a business/finance high school curriculum. Students will be given the opportunity to learn about and prepare for college careers in business and finance which include banking and credit, personal finance, financial planning, economics, stocks, bonds, insurance and automated accounting.
The Law program prepares students for careers as attorneys, paralegals, police officers and other law-enforcement careers. Programs include criminal and civil procedures, citizens and the law, public speaking, legal research and contemporary issues.
The Business program consists of different business disciplines, offering students a broad exposure to this diverse field. Programs include administrative training, automated accounting, business management, software applications and digital publishing.
Utilization of Magnet Schools
The school district strives to have the utilization of all schools between 85% and 105% of their current capacity. The 2011-2012 Utilization of each magnet school helps determine the number of new magnet openings a school may offer for the 2012-2013 magnet lottery.

Special Information: In 2011, Vystar Credit Union opened a branch at Wolfson High School to enable the Academy of Finance students access to quality financial services and to provide work-based learning opportunities for the magnet students. Students work in the branch office during lunch periods to provide services to fellow students and to the faculty. Vystar Credit Union is a great example of how the school, community and local businesses work together for the common goal of educating the future workforce.
