Magnet Schools

Academica

Academica was founded in 1999 on the principle that each charter school is a unique educational environment governed by an independent Board of Directors that best knows the right path for its school, and Academica’s mission is to facilitate that Governing Board’s vision. Academica currently provides services for 76 schools in Florida, California, Georgia, and Texas. Two charter schools are currently operated by Academica in Duval County with four more scheduled to open in 2012-2013 pending final contract approval with the Duval County School Board.
